The Federation of Women Contractors (FWC) was incorporated in 1989 by a group of entrepreneurial women contractors who recognized the need for an organization that would support women contractors in the male-dominated field of construction. Since that time, FWC has grown to be recognized as the largest and strongest local organization of women construction owners in the Chicagoland area.
